Congratulations to Judge Joe Fauth. On October 20th Governor Abbott appointed him, along with 3 others, to the Commission on Jail Standards. The regulatory agency sets requirements for the construction, compliance and inspection of all county and municipal jails in the state. Judge Fauth is happy to be representing the smaller county jails.

On Friday, October 24, 2025 GCRW received the John Goodwin Tower Award by the Texas Federation of Republican Women at the 35th Biennial Convention in San Antonio. Our Vice President, Tina Hector received this award from Governor Greg Abbott on behalf of GCRW. The John Goodwin Tower is awarded for excellence in Club Development, Membership, Programs, Campaign Activities and Community Engagement.
