We’re excited to announce a new community outreach project for GCRW! This season, we’ll be partnering with Grimes County Animal Shelter to help care for animals in need in our community. These shelters work tirelessly to provide food, safety, and love for pets waiting for their forever homes—and we have a chance to help make their work a little easier.
Over the next several weeks, we’ll be collecting donations that the shelter uses every day to care for their animals. Even small contributions can make a big difference! Items they need include:
Pet food (dog and cat)
New Bedding and blankets
New Pet toys
Kitty litter
Cleaning supplies such as Fabuloso
This is a wonderful opportunity for our club to come together, show compassion, and make a tangible impact on the lives of animals who need a little extra care. Whether you bring one item or several, every donation helps create a healthier, happier environment for these pets while they wait for loving homes.
Let’s rally together and show how powerful our community can be when we work toward a shared goal. Thank you for helping us support these animals—and the people who care for them—through your generosity! 🐶🐱
We will be accepting donations through May 19th. There will be a drop box at the April & May meetings, and we can also arrange to pick up your items.
If you would like to be a part of the “Action Committee” email Tina at VP.grimescrw@gmail.com
