November Meeting: A Celebration and a Bit More Voting!
November’s meeting was a time of celebration and relief—the elections were (mostly) behind us! But just when we thought the ballots were all counted, there was still some business left to wrap up.
It was Election Day at our November gathering—this time for the positions of President and Secretary. According to our bylaws, the Nominating Committee had been working hard to bring forward candidates for these important roles, and the moment had come for our membership to cast their votes.
The results? We’re excited to announce that Mary Blackburn was reelected and will continue to serve as our President for another term! 🎉 A huge thank you to Mary for her unwavering service and commitment to the organization. We’re lucky to have you leading us forward!
Here’s to another two years of growth, collaboration, and success under your leadership, Mary! We also held a vote for the role of Secretary during our November meeting. We’re thrilled to announce that Jennifer Clark has graciously agreed to serve one more term as Secretary! A big thank you to Jennifer for her continued dedication and commitment to our group. Your hard work and organization help keep everything running smoothly!
As we turned our focus to the holiday season, we also want to express our deep gratitude to all the members who brought delicious dishes to our Thanksgiving gathering. It was a joy to spend a little time together, sharing good food and even better company, before the hustle and bustle of the holidays take over. Thank you all for making our November meeting so memorable. Here's to a successful year ahead, filled with teamwork, dedication, and plenty of moments to be thankful for!
